Synbio Phyt P, a Makian Dam Pars product, is a feed additive consisting of probiotics, prebiotic and licorice extract, which helps to improve gastrointestinal function and, as a result, improves the flock performance, especially in stressful situations. The digestive system is one of the most important systems in the body. The imbalance of intestinal microflora, in addition to digestive problems, disrupts the immune system and endangers the animal’s health. Probiotics are a beneficial type of bacteria whose role is to support intestinal health and maintain the balance of the microbial flora of the digestive tract. Prebiotics provide the necessary nutrients to provide energy to beneficial bacteria and cause the growth of probiotics in a specific way and strengthen their effect. Supplements containing probiotics and prebiotics are called synbiotics. In the meantime, combining these compounds with plant extracts will strengthen their effects and ultimately lead to poultry health, reducing FCR, and increasing the production and efficiency of the flock.
Mechanism of action:
Lactic acid producing bacteria are part of the natural flora of the gastrointestinal tract of poultry. After being replaced in the digestive system, these microorganisms prevent the growth of pathogens by producing lactic acid and reduce the risk of gastrointestinal diseases. The decrease in the pH of the digestive system and the increase in the activity of digestive enzymes, which is the result of the activity of these bacteria, causes better absorption of micronutrients, including vitamins, amino acids, and mineral elements such as zinc, phosphorus, calcium, and manganese. The result improves the food conversion rate. Also, by stimulating the immune system, these bacteria increase the body’s resistance to diseases and greatly reduce the need for antibiotics. The simultaneous use of these bacteria with dextran increases their proliferation and improves their function in the intestinal environment. Licorice extract contains various compounds including triterpenoid saponins, flavonoids, isoflavones, coumarins and polysaccharides. Triterpenoids and other compounds in licorice extract, including flavonoids, have antioxidant properties and reduce oxidative stress caused by physical (heat, humidity, transportation, etc.) and chemical factors (aflatoxins in the diet, etc.). ) and as a result, they improve blood biochemical indicators and organ function. Licorice also prevents and heals gastrointestinal ulcers by increasing mucus secretion and its anti-pepsin activity.
