Mechanism of action:
This product contains natural extracts of plants such as Echinacea purpurea and Thymus vulgaris and is formulated in a way that its different components strengthen each other’s therapeutic effects. Echinacea plant has antibacterial, antiseptic, antiviral and anti-inflammatory effects. Echinacea enhances the immune system and is very effective in improving respiratory infections such as influenza and bronchitis. This plant stimulates specific cell-dependent immunity and improves immune activity by increasing the function of T lymphocytes, phagocytes, leukocytes and increasing the synthesis of interferons. Also, the extract of this plant prevents the virus from entering the cell and causing infection and its spread by inhibiting the binding of the virus to its receptor.
Thymus vulgaris has antioxidant, antiseptic, antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antipyretic and anti-congestion effects. The active compounds in this plant are mucolytic (expectorant) and facilitate the exit of the secretions. In addition, the extract of this plant is expectorant and is very effective in improving spasm, bronchitis and cough. Thymol and Carvacrol present in thyme stimulate the movement of the upper respiratory cilia and dilute phlegm and help to expel it from the respiratory tract, clearing the nose, trachea and bronchi, breathing comfort, increasing pulmonary capacity and faster recovery of the animal.
